Getting Here

The Adelaide Central Market is conveniently located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD making it easily accessible from wherever you may be.


The City to Bay Tram stops right on our doorstep in Victoria Square/Tarndanyangga.  Any city bound public transport will get you in the vicinity of the Central Market, with only a short stroll or quick trip on the Free Adelaide Connector Bus required, for you to experience the delights the Market has to offer.

Disabled Access

The Central market stalls and shops are accessible by wheelchair.

Disabled toilets are also available for visitors.

There is a wheelchair available free of charge for visitors and it can be booked in advance on 08 8203 7494

Victoria Square Upgrade

Work on Adelaide City Council’s Stage 1 upgrade of Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga has begun. The project will transform the Square into a people-focused space for all South Australians.  There will be some minor interuptions, however at no point is the Square scheduled to be closed to traffic and no changes will be made to our car park accessibility.
