Butchery Classes with Feast! Fine Foods

Have you ever wanted to take your interest in creating great food to the next level by learning how to create it from scratch?  Thought about making your own sausages, preparing your own pork and lamb cuts from the whole carcass, or even creating specialised cuts from poultry and game birds?

Then the butchery classes hosted by Feast! Fine Foods is your answer.  Their classes not only aim to educate you, but will also provide you with the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and take them to the next level.   And.... most of the produce you prepare, can be taken home with you.

SAUSAGE MAKING CLASS


Enjoy a fun afternoon/evening of hands on Sausage Making.  As well as getting to make your own variety of Sausage, we will also discuss and demonstrate how to make a traditional pork and gourmet sausage variety.

Poultry & Game Butchery Class


Our Feast! butcher will first demonstrate the process of boning out a Chicken and Quails and then portioning a Rabbit.  Following this, participants will then get the opporunity to do the same under the guidance of of our staff.  Participants will get to take home everything that they prepare during the class.

Pork Butchery Class

Our Pork Butchery Class focuses on our flagship Free Range Berkshire Pork.  Watch as one of our Feast! Butchers breaks down a whole Pork carcass, followed by an in depth demonstration of breaking down a section of the carcass.

All participants will then get to prepare their own cuts from this section, followed by a tasting and open discussion. Best of all, participants will get to take home all cuts that they prepare.

Lamb Butchery Class


We will discuss the choice and availability of seasonal Lamb in South Australia to educate consumers on the choices available. One of our Feast! butchers will demonstrate a breakdown of a whole Lamb carcass, followed by an in depth demonstration of breaking down a section of the carcass.

Participants will then prepare their own cuts from this section and best of all, take home everything they prepare!  Participants will also have the opportunity to taste some of the best lamb in season at the end of the class.

Beef Butchery Class


A new addition to our range of Butchery Classes, to prepare you for the summer BBQ season.  Our Beef Butchery Class will explore both common and uncommon types of steaks. For example, participants will prepare their own Flat Iron Steak and seam out a Whole Rump.  This will be followed by a beefy discussion and a tasting. Participants will get to take home a Whole Rump and Oyster Blade, which makes this class excellent value for money.
