Gluten Free Cooking with Mel Haynes + Bathe With Us Cellar Door

Fri 25 May (6-8pm)

Mel HAynes.jpg

On the Gouger St stage, joining Bathe Wines, will be experienced Chef and qualified Nutritionist Mel Haynes. Mel will discuss gluten free diets - the truth and the hype! Do you need to be following a gluten free diet? What is the difference between a wheat intolerance and coeliac disease? Are there health benefits to being gluten and wheat free? She will also demonstrate a few gluten free dishes using only the best and freshest produce from the Market.

If you've ever wondered about a gluten free diet - here's your chance to discover the truth!

Joining Mel next to the Gouger St stage will be the monthly Central Market Cellar door for Bathe Wines.

Bathe is a community of Australian wine lovers that connects some of the best vignerons, winemakers, designers and enigmatic thinkers in the country.   They believe in a different kind of wine company – where everyone from the grower in the vineyard to the consumer sharing a bottle of wine over dinner with friends, is part of the story.

Join the team from Bathe Wines as they sample the following:

  • 2010 McLaren Vale Shiraz
  • 2011 Rose
  • 2011 Adelaide Hills Savignon Blanc
  • 2011 Moscasto
  • 2011 Pinot Noir  Tasmania (first public release)
